A.I.
A.I. ethics is currently a hot topic all over the world. While there are many benefits to this advanced technology there are also a lot of privacy risks that the public is becoming aware of. What made me research this topic more in depth was due to an episode of a documentary I've been watching recently.
The Amazon prime documentary series "This Giant Beast that is the Global Economy" focuses an entirety of an episode on A.I. and the potential impact it could have on our society. The host of the show lays out the various uses of A.I. in place at many different companies with many different purposes.
AI is simply a computer brain which furthers learning and works to solve problems found within society. Specifically in this documentary, one food producing company used AI to scan the general public's desires in terms of what they were looking for in their food and were able to find products that matched the organic health ideal that those Americans wanted.
While there were some threats that this technology seemed to have on the public's privacy; for example the ability to mask someones face with another individuals, there were a lot of benefits that can already be seen at work in our society.
AI is not something taken for granted or swept to the side, in fact many different sites focus on developments with AI and some even devote entire sections to it.
